Put on your woolies and get ready to join us for the last show of 2013 on Sunday December 1st at 12600 Windward Parkway. You will have eaten your fill, been nice to all the relatives, done your shopping and now it’s time for you to have some fun.
This will be a great show and an opportunity to give thanks by helping us with our Toys for Tots toy drive. Please bring a new unwrapped toy and drop it off for our Marine representatives next to our Caffeine & Octane merchandise trailer.
Speaking of gifts, a Caffeine & Octane hat or shirt would make a nice stocking stuffer for you or your gearhead friends.
Don’t forget the Panera lot next door is also available to display cars and park.
Happy Holidays to everyone and thanks for being such great supporters of the best enthusiast car event in the Southeastern United States.
Hope to see you Sunday!
We have beautiful weather predicted for Caffeine & Octane this Sunday November 3rd. The crowds continue to grow so don’t forget the Panera lot next door is also available to display cars and park.
A couple of reminders:
• NO BURNOUTS! This behavior puts both you and the show at risk
• Please thank our sponsors (who provide the revenue to cover expenses and keep us going)
• Don’t park in front of the tape at Home Depot (it blocks access to pine straw and other materials) but do make a purchase if possible and make sure to mention you’re there with C&O.
• Obey the No Parking Signs (including Spring Hill Suites)
• Please make sure your trash ends up in the trash cans so we leave the lots better than we found them
• Portable restrooms are available behind Mambo Jambo
• No leafleting cars and no trailers
Next month we are supporting a Toys for Tot drive at the December 1st show (last of the year) so please think about bringing a new unwrapped toy.
Hope to see you Sunday!
September has flown by and we can’t believe it’s time for the next Caffeine & Octane on Sunday, October 6th at 12600 Deerfield Parkway about a half mile west of 400 on Windward Parkway. The show officially starts at 8 am but with the crowds showing up early, the lots are filling up quickly.
If you are a spectator, please drive slowly and park over by our friends at Home Depot (and stop by after the show to make a purchase). Panera has provided space as well so grab your first coffee before you walk over and get your second cup at Mambo Jambo who has been a great long term supporter.
New this month…Spring Hill Suites is offering a $59.00 rate for participants on Friday and Saturday Nights only. It is loaded in the Marriott Reservation System so you can call 888-287-9400 and request the hotel and the Caffeine and Octane rate. Please do not park at the entrance or take up spaces for their customers.
A quick rule reminder…no leafleting of cars with flyers, no burnouts (Milton and Alpharetta police are supportive of the show and do not want to give tickets) and no trailers.
Hope to see you there!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone this holiday weekend, on Sunday September 1st, for the next Caffeine & Octane. We had a big crowd last month and if the weather holds we should have lots of great cars and great people.
Please thank our sponsors that help keep this show going!
Thanks to everyone who came out, even with the threatening weather. A Bugatti Veyron and a Soviet Tupolev A-3 Aerosledge Airboat were just a sample of the variety of rare and unique vehicles this month (too many to list).
Please make sure to thank the sponsors and police whose support keeps Caffeine & Octane going.
Another reminder that no flyers are to be placed on cars. If you are a sponsor or have an upcoming show and want to hand someone a flyer (and they agree to take it) that’s fine but no unsolicited distribution.
Hopefully we’ll have some decent weather for the show on Sunday August 4th at 7:30 am so more cars can come out but we’ll be there rain or shine. May was wet and the forecast was bad for June and July and skies threatened. We’re due for a nice sunny day!
