Well August turned out pretty well despite losing our host. I would like to thank the Pink Ladies and Top Speed for bringing Coffee and food to the event.

Also I’d like to thank our attendees for your courteous behavior at the event. The two off duty officers I hired were amazed how big the event was, and how few (if any) problems there were. They really loved the show.

Due to the closing of Nino’s I’m looking for a new venue. I must get 2 or 3 emails a day from folks wanting to help find a new venue. Thank you! I’ve got a couple of locations that are looking good. Something should be firmed up by late next week.

I don’t visit Facebook very often (spend a lot of my off time building a sailboat), but apparently there is a pretty heated discussion about the practice of reserving spots. I can see both sides of this argument. I’d like to propose a compromise. It’s OK to reserve a spot until 8am, but after that please allow anyone coming in to park there. That should give the clubs and big groups time to get there, but when the spots get tight it’s not fair to deny somebody a spot.

Keep checking the site for our new home in September. I’ll be trying to get the day off!
